The following goals have been developed in order to prepare staff and students for continued success at Stratham Memorial School. The goals are intended to reflect the grade level expectations (GLEs), NH Educational Standards and the related State and District assessments. Attainment of these goals is influenced by the use of diverse instructional strategies and resources, and by staff-development efforts.
Goal 1: To continue with professional development opportunities supporting the whole child – social, emotional, and academic
Goal 2: To implement the Learning to Read by Reading Reader’s Workshop as outlined by the Center for Applied Child Development (CACD) at TUFTS
Goal 3: To utilize staff meeting time as a reflective educational forum for topics, ideas, and methods relative to improving instruction
Goal 4: To develop a data-based digital portfolio for student performance
Goal 5: To foster a school climate evolving around the tenets of the Responsive Classroom
Goal 6: To promote staff and student success, personally and professionally

1. Complete a successful professional employee negotiation
2. Complete the vision committee tasking
3. Complete the budgeting process by formulating a budget that is fiscally sustainable
4. Review the pros and cons of continuing the NWEA spring testing
5. Develop a 5 year capital improvement plan
6. Foster more open communication with the community and staff
